Vivo, the first company to produce an under screen fingerprint sensor is finally bringing in the X21 to Malaysia. The company has just sent us the invertation to the launch of the X21 which will happen on 5th June 2018.
The X21 falls under the mid-range category as it comes with a Snapdragon 660 processor, 128GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM. The main focus of the phone is the fingerprint sensor which takes up a little less than half of the bottom screen. The sensor works by lighting up the screen when you press on it, and it will read your fingerprint to unlock the phone. It is not the fastest fingerprint sensor we have seen, but it works and that’s a big step forward to making phones will an all-display. The screen is a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display which will help when it comes to detecting your finger. Powering the device is a 3,200mAh battery alongside Android 8.1 with FunTouch 4.0.
They did not mention the price of the phone which we assume they are keeping for the launch of the phone. We will know more about the phone when 5th June comes around.
